This is a gorgeous brown 100% finnsheep wool yarn, 3 ply, 100 yards / 2 ounces.

Gorgeous deep brown color on this yarn that is a pretty rare thing. Finnsheep this color, also known as Morrit or Ruskea in Finnish are kinda special creatures. Point of View Farm ewes Saffron, Mocha and Whisper produce wool this color and can all trace their lineage back to a Farm in Finland that breeds brown finnsheep there. Brown in sheep (all sheep) is double recessive, like blue eyes in people. You hear about black sheep being unusual but, brown sheep are even more so. This yarn showcases what the brown finnsheep are all about. Soft, squishy and really special. Obviously, not dyed.
