FINNSHEEP Raw LAMB Fleece, Pearl 2020, 1 pound 11 ounces, white, free shipping

This is Pearl’s 2020 Raw Fleece. 1 pound 11 ounces. Her fleece was coated/ jacketed most of the year but, being so fine, her fleece held onto some fine VM. I’d call it low VM (vegetable matter- hay, straw, grass from the pastures, etc..). I also skirted it myself. Raw fleece means it has not been washed yet. The fleece was carefully and professionally shorn off Pearl in a single piece New Zealand style.

Pearl was born at Point of View Farm in 2019 to one of our well known ewes, Jaana. We love Pearl’s fine crimpy consistent fleece and are very much looking forward to seeing it in future years. This was set aside to show at the county fair (that never happened in 2020). We are sure that Pearl’s fleece would have won a ribbon in the medium white division there. It is so pretty and would be prefect for your next to the skin soft project being a fine lamb fleece

Pearl is a purebred registered finnsheep and one of the few white finnsheep in the Point of View farm flock.
