Every lamb is bred, born, and raised on our farm in Bangall, New York, with one mission: the healthiest, best-tasting lamb we can produce. Finnsheep carry far less lanolin than commercial wool breeds — and since lanolin is what gives ordinary lamb its heavy, gamey edge, ours is naturally mild, sweet, and delicately savory. The carcass is lean and the texture fine, a tenderness chefs often compare to premium beef. Our flock rotationally grazes sustainably managed pastures that have never seen chemical fertilizer, and through winter our expectant and nursing ewes eat the highest-quality organic feed.
