Natural Brown Wool Top, 26 Micron for felting and spinning

1 pound of 26 micron natural brown wool combed top. If you are not familiar combed top is similar to roving but is slightly different in that the wool is processed with combs not a carding cloth (like roving is). Top means that more of the fibers are aligned in a parallel position than would be for roving.

This is a commercial product and is not from our finnsheep at Point of View Farm. Why do we have it then? Well, it is not possible to get our own wool processed like this into combed top because we are just not working the the thousands of pounds of wool that the huge commercial mills that process true combed top require (think like 10,000 pounds or more). So we purchase this in bulk for when we want dark brown top and I thought, why not make it available to you as well? Here it is and a pretty nice price too.

You will receive it in a reusable drawstring bag that you can use to keep it safe and contained until you want to use it or a large clear bag if you order more than 1 pound.
