Handmade ceramic figural sheep bowl made by the lead shepherd at Point of View Farm Finnsheep. This is a bowl is glazed in food safe glazes so you can use it for display or serving our favorite food. Cute little sheep head on one side and a curly tail on the other. Signed on the bottom. The bowl portion measures 7″ in diameter and 3.5″ tall. The head adds a bit of length in that direction.
This bowl is a one of a kind ceramic piece, glazed in a glossy pink on the outside and purple on the inside. The speckles are from the clay it is made from. I love that laguna clay. It is dishwasher and food safe. With care, it will last centuries.
CaraLeigh made the bowl on a potter’s wheel in the Hudson Valley region of NY, trimmed it and then attached an individually made rams head. There will never be another bowl exactly like this one as nothing is molded or manufactured…it is all entirely unique and hand made….and it is all a New York product (even the clay and glazes were purchased in NY).
