Our natural wool dryer balls are an excellent environmentally friendly alternative to fabric softeners and dryer sheets for softening clothes and reducing wrinkles. We make each dryer ball by hand at Point of View Farm using finnsheep wool. Our sheep wool felts extremely well making a long lasting dryer ball. The natural color of the wool may vary from grey to chocolate brown however, each set will have all the same color dryer balls.
Point of View Farm recommends 3 balls in the dryer for maximum effectiveness. They absorb moisture in the dryer and the balls absorb warmth to evenly distribute that heat leaving no pockets of hot air that damage your clothes (or can make static). Point of View Dryer balls can also help reduce drying time meaning you save electricity. Our wool Dryer Balls are reusable hundreds and hundreds of times. Kinda a win-win.

How Dryer Balls work:
Instead of the wet clothes remaining in a clump and drying from the outside in, the dryer balls bounce around inside the dryer drum as it spins, separating the various items and creating loft between the clothes for better air flow and quicker drying. This decreases your costs in electricity by reducing the time needed to run the machine.
