Which sock should I buy?
Three quick questions and we'll land you on the right pair of Finnsheep wool socks — and the right size. Every pair is knit from Finnsheep fiber, which is smooth and comfortable against your skin — a world apart from most commercially available yarns.
1. Who are they for?
2. What will they be worn with?
The taller the sock, the warmer the sock — the calf is where blood circulates closest to the skin, so a taller cuff holds warmth in, and a shorter one lets heat spill out. If you're a warm person who wants a comfy sock, pick the shorter style.
3. What US shoe size do they wear?
Every style fits true to shoe size — wool offers superior elasticity and shape retention, so the sock stretches to fit and springs back. Half sizes and a close guess are fine. One exception: at the very top of a size range we'll suggest sizing up, since machine washing agitates the wool and can snug the fit.

Caring for your wool socks
The gold standard for wool sock care is hand wash in a gentle soap and line dry. Prefer the washing machine? Cold water and a mild wool soap wash only — and always line dry. Machine washing agitates the wool, so at the top of a size range we recommend sizing up.
