Mid weight wool socks start with Point of View Farm's premium Finnsheep wool, bred, born and raised in the Hudson Valley region of New York on grass pastures we carefully steward for future generations. They grow beautiful high quality wool, mostly grey and shades of brown.

The footbed and heel are thick cushiony terry loop construction — insulating, full of cushion, and slow to wear at the sole, heel and toe. Our customers love how long they last, and no one has ever commented they were "itchy".

The hiker cuff is the perfect hiking sock. We improved the heel be extending the terry loop cushion higher. The cuff height is the perfect length for serious hikers wearing mid height boots for greater support. . A touch of lycra keeps them in place... no slipping socks. Made in the USA.

These socks are the authentic natural color of the sheep that grew the wool. Made with 95% wool with 5% lycra. Recommended care is washing in cold water and hang to dry to maintain shape.
