Kainuu socks are our lighter, flat knit style — a smooth, trim knit from cuff to toe with no terry loop footbed. They wear easily inside boots, dress shoes and sneakers, and are a favorite in the shoulder seasons when a heavy sock is too much.

The hiker cuff runs a little higher than the crew, the right length under mid height boots for greater support on the trail. Knit from Point of View Farm's premium Finnsheep wool, bred, born and raised in the Hudson Valley on pastures we carefully steward. A touch of lycra in the cuff keeps them in place. Made in the USA.

These socks are the authentic natural color of the sheep that grew the wool. The wool is not dyed. Recommended care is washing in cold water and hang to dry to maintain shape.
