Point of View Farm Washable Finnsheep Sheepskin in natural shades of brown with white patches.
This sheepskin is 43 inches long and 29 inches wide. Wool length about 1.5 inches. This sheepskin is what is known as shearling since it was shorn to an even shorter length of wool. It is uniform and soft. the leather is very supple and will conform nicely to uneven surfaces like a curved back chair. This sheepskin shows what is known as spotting (white wool patches in the colored fleece). It makes it extra unique. We do not have shearling sheepskins very often so if this one speaks to you, I’d get it while you see it.
We measure our sheepskin length from the top center to the lower left corner. The width is the largest area from side to side across the middle of the sheepskin.
Washable, care instructions are included. They are tanned in the USA using a specific process so that this is possible. The soft pliable leather underside is cream colored.
Wool is naturally hypo-allergenic, biodegradable and repels dirt and odors as well as being fire retardant. These are all bonuses to the fact that people just enjoy cuddling up with these. Children enjoy sitting on them and we have had customers sleep on them for extra warmth and cushioning. Our customers have told us they use our sheepskins for rugs, on their beds or chairs, draped over furniture, car seats, pet beds, motorcycle seat warmers, horse saddle pads and MORE! People take them to picnic on. How about laying it over your patio chair in the sun?
