2020 Raw Honey.
This is honey from the hives at Point of View Farm. The beekeeper who owns this hive won People’s Choice (first place Grand Champion) for honey from Point of View Farm at the 2019 Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck. There was no 2020 fair (because, well, it is a pandemic year) so we won’t know if the bee’s honey would have won an award again. We are hoping to enter 2021 honey though.
We enjoy having the bees at the farm that help pollinate some of the things the sheep in the pastures eat like clover, alfalfa and various ‘weeds’. The bees like being here since we don’t use pesticides at the farm or do other things that might harm them. In fact, we like to plant things they enjoy and they, in return, provide honey.
